Hi There!

Well I haven’t done very good at keeping up here now have I? Well I will promise to try if you promise to read ok? Deal.

I have been thinking a lot lately about my working at home. Does it give me all the freedom that I want? Well in most ways it does, some days it doesn’t. Yes, somedays even I have to buckle down and actually work.

I have some ideas rolling around in my head for new ventures. Some concern this very blog.

I know there is a whole community of WAHMs out there. I have had the pleasure of meeting only a few of the woman that I know are out there. The online community is HUGE!

My question is this … How do I connect with even more WAHMs out there? What do I have to offer them? Do I have anything to offer them? What do WAHMs want?

Do they want a place to connect? Do they want other WAHMs to chat to and talk to? Do they want affordable tools for their working environment? What does she want? What are her goals?  What are her frustrations?

What can I personally do to help out in my community? Do I have a specific talent that would reach out and touch the lives of these women in a positive matter?

A lot to think about, huh?

It’s Thursday, it’s raining and the kids are still sick …

What a rollercoaster kind of week this has been.

Monday is of course a busy week for us. Especially since girls basketball started. This was our last practice week though. This coming Saturday are the playoffs with the final game on Monday. It is exciting. Did I tell you how much better she has gotten over the season? She is starting to steal the ball and trying to make shots. She even scored in the last game. Going to be sad it is all over.

So after basketball practice we race home to make the tail end of a webinar. Kelly at 42-Day Incubator is a wonderful coach.

Then we have to get girls to bed, because Tuesday morning is state testing. We have to drive almost an hour to get there. So it is an early morning for a family that is used to sleeping in. The girls felt a lot better about their testing this week rather than last week. Maybe it is because they don’t have to go back next week? They are glad to have the yearly testing behind them. Mom is anxious to know how they did, but will have to wait until spring.

After that of course we drove home to vote. Yeap you know the girls went with me. It was Zach’s first time to vote. Had to assure my Dad he really is 18 and old enough to vote. How very sad that they have to grow up.
