Day 3 of Fat Loss Quickie

Well I am a proud owner of a Mickey Mouse jump rope.  Let me tell you … it’s not as easy as you remember it to be either! Now I see why boxers do it. Maybe it is because the older you get the more weight you have to go over that rope?  I kept thinking I enjoyed doing this as a kid why???

So here we are on Day 3 of Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Program. How am I feeling? Well … my muscles are telling me that I really haven’t been using them like I should. Which is just a sad state of affairs. The old saying, “use it or lose it” is true. Especially when it comes to muscles.

This momentum is also spilling over into other areas of my life as well. Ok so it may only be Day 3, but I really find I am more motivated to write and to get things done. What an excellent side effect!

Leave a comment and hold me accountable! Or if you want my support be sure to let me know where I can come and visit you to cheer you on!

Here is to losing our computer butts!

Weight Loss and Accountability

It was Sunday evening and I was doing some blog hoping and I landed at my friend’s blog. Nicole Dean posted  You are Invited to Get Healthy with Me. This really got me thinking. I have been getting the same signs.

I won’t even tell you what size my new jeans are.  I will tell you I had to get a size that to go around my waist I am walking on the pant legs… that made me mad. I am also starting to think that large mirrors in the bathroom should be outlawed!

Unlike Nicole I am only 5′2″. I dont’ hide that extra 20 or more pounds I have put on. Not many places to hide it. I am wearing baggy clothes and when I do wear jeans I am walking on the pant legs!

So I am joining Nicole and all of her commenters on the Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Program. That’s right … and I am announcing it here so you all can hold me accountable.

So go ahead hold me accountable. I am going to lose weight. I am going to get healthy. With Scott’s help at the Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Program and being held accountable I am armed and dangerous.

Oh and by the way I did get out the tape measure and the scale. That just made me depressed. I won’t post the numbers, but I can’t wait to say that I have lost inches around that computer butt!

How to Work At Home and meatloaf. See the similarities?

If you go to your local bookstore you will see a book with this title, “How to Work at Home”, or at least I am pretty sure you will. I honestly haven’t checked lately. I am sure there is though.

The thing of the matter is though, there just isn’t one book for everyone. Let’s face it, there is as many ways to work at home as there is to … oh I don’t know, make meatloaf?

They all have the same basic ingredients, but are all assembled different ways.

Working at home takes 2 essential ingredients. No matter what you do, or how you do it, there are two things that you just HAVE to have.

A can do attitude. When you work at home you just have to have this. You have to KNOW you can get it done and that you WILL get it done. That can do attitude is what is between you and success.

The other ingredient for working at home?  Work. Yeap, funny how that is isn’t it? I know there are a bunch of ads that say, “sign up with me and you will make 1000s of dollars over night.” Trust me it just ain’t going to happen if you don’t put a bit of that elbow grease in there. You actually have to work at working at home.

Then the rest is all up to what ingredients you like in your meatloaf. There are a ton of different opportunities out there. There are opportunities to work of others and opportunites to work for yourself. You can create a niche or find an angle all your own. Those are what make your work at home experience unique to you. And let’s face it, mine is not going to be anything like yours

That’s why we need to view all those books, ebooks and other great sources as kind of recipe books. They give us a formula for how to make our meatloaf, but it is up to us to make it our own!

Oh and a little side note? Remember when making meatloaf you have to get in there and work with your hands!
